Breaking News: President Kiir dissolves his whole cabinet

Juba, July 23, 2013 (SSNA) — South Sudanese president, Salva Kiir Mayardiit, has issued a ‘Republican Decree’ dissolving his entire cabinet, including VP Machar and SPLM secretary general Pagan Amum.

The president also mandated all undersecretaries to carry out ministerial activities in their respected ministries.

In the decree, seen by the South Sudan News Agency, the president reduced the number of ministers from twenty-nine (29) to eighteen (18) and formed an investigation committee headed by the speaker of South Sudan parliament Wani Igga to investigate Pagan Amum.
