International Association of African NGOs Presents Social Accountability Summit following Obama’s African Leadership Summit

IAAN – A Call To Good Governance

Washington, DC, July 21, 2014 (SSNA) — International Association of African NGO’s will host the Social Accountability Summit taking place at the Washington Marriott Hotel, 1221 22nd Street Washington, DC 20037 on August 7th-8th 2014. Participants include African Presidents, Governors, First Ladies, Private Sector, NGOs/CSOs, the Clergy and the Youths.

IAAN is proud to bring the Social Accountability Summit to Washington, D.C. for the first time. The summit is scheduled as a side event to President Obama’s African Leadership Summit. On August 5th 2014, Presidents of all African countries will converge in Washington DC for President Obama’s African Leadership Summit. The International Association of African Non-Governmental Organizations has been given the honor to participate in this impactful event.

The Social Accountability Summit is the brainchild of Mrs. Joyce Halliday, Executive Director of IAAN. This significant event themed “Call To Good Governance” will have several informative panel discussions and an award dinner. Various topics will be discussed during the panels ranging from “Accountability, Leadership to Investment Opportunities.”

The summit forums is open to the public and encourages the youth to participate. The Grand Ball will take place at 7pm on August 8th and will be held at Capital Hilton Hotel, 1001 16th St. NW Washington DC, 20036.
