Yei/Juba, November 30, 2016 (SSNA) — Peace monitors of the Ceasefire and Transitional Security Arrangements Monitoring Mechanism (CTSAMM) have finally arrived in Yei town to investigative reports of fighting and ethnically targeted killings.
The announcement came just one day after the team was blocked yesterday by South Sudan’s security agents who told them simply that they were not allowed to enter the town.
“Following recent events in which a CTSAMM team were prevented from travelling to Yei by Government authorities the team have since been allowed to travel to the area after multiple discussions between the CTSAMM leadership and the authorities,” the team said in a statement.
Adding that “The CTSAMM team have now successfully carried out their journey and reached Yei Town today, the 30th November, 2016. The team will now undertake a five-day mission in the area.”
According to Chapter II of ARCSS, CTSAMM is an investigative body tasked to monitor compliance and report directly to the Joint Monitoring and Evaluation Commission (JMEC) on the progress of the implementation of the Permanent Ceasefire and Transitional Security Arrangements.

I think Yei deserve violent because it is a place where greediest of power in South Sudan train killers. They need to Live in peace and nobody is going to attack them. Bloody kick back money.
We are from central equatorial people but our soil, you come with the big number of soldiers to killed my people in my soil you will not back to your home town. If we equatorial have someone to help us with the guns and we will take Juba in 6 months because I know we equatorial know how to fight, for example. During the time of we southsudan fight with northsudan, who are the people help the SPLA/m? We equatorial are the people who help. Now government of southsudan took guns to killed my peope of central equatorial. President of southsudan is done, he can not be in power for so long because we central equatorial were the key of southsudan.
Comment *when people re crying
for peace in south Sudan, they welcome in destruction
I hate the government that murdered its own people from time to time.
As an equatorian land has been regarded as a battle ground for ethnic cleasing by the jieng council of elders, a government which favour it tribe ane doesn’t cared the other 63 tribes of south sudan. Their reign will come to an end if we combined together to overthrow the ruling party, mostly monopolised by JCE.

All posted by my commentators will not work. what we need is peace. we know were we come from regardless of which tribes we are. preaching war like a pastor on the pulpit will not help South Sudan. war has began and it should come to an end. Peace, peace now not tomorrow and you if guys are preaching war I know you are the once that will call for peace in some days, let us build trust and reconciliation among ourselves South Sudanese.
