Addis Ababa, October 10, 2019 (SSNA) — The editor-in-chief of the South Sudan News Agency (SSNA) Duop Chak Wuol has criticized president Salva Kiir, describing him as “cunning and master of deceit” who cannot be trusted by anyone.
Late last week, Duop wrote an opinion piece that was widely published in South Sudanese media outlets including the SSNA.
In the article, he argues that Kiir cannot be trusted by anyone, branding him as “dictator and Kleptocrat.”
“Trusting Salva Kiir is like trusting a pathological liar who constantly beats his chest to prove that his lies are the embodiment of truth,” Duop wrote, adding, “A leader who is a tyrant and kleptocrat is not a leader.”
Known for his critical and sometimes prolific wrings, the South Sudan News Agency editor says he sees no real peace as long as Salva Kiir reminds in power. He lambasted the president, asserting that the president’s mind has no room for opposing views, let alone democratic reforms.
When contacted to explain what he really means in his article, Duop simply said ‘he has had enough of Kiir’s nonsense” and that his links with some government officials energized him to further expose the government’s misdeeds.
This is not the first time Duop criticizes the president. In the past, he described him as a “puppet of Uganda” who prefers tribal politics over real politics.

I think that is the least a media personality can put it. I would say Kirr is a man who wakes up without a diary. He does what he does what comes to his mind when he wakes up every new morning. He is not reliable let alone being trusted
