Juba, March 7, 2018 (SSNA) — An Israel-based humanitarian group has conducted successful operations in war-torn South Sudan, helping girls and women who face difficulties accessing education.

The Israel Forum for International Humanitarian Aid (IsraAID) offered educational programs to South Sudanese women and girls who have been displaced by the ongoing civil war.

The two agencies also allow teachers to further their educational backgrounds and participate in the development and rebuilding their nations.

Found in 2001, IsraAID has become a leading humanitarian non-governmental organization, committed to providing life-saving emergency relief and durable solutions for populations affected by natural disasters, epidemics, and post-conflict situations, according to its website.
