Juba, February 16, 2019 (SSNA) — The World Health Organization has released its 2018 report about the progress it made in some parts of the country. The report is based on improving health access, emergency wash in health facilities in conflict-affected locations, quality essential clinical health services, and improving resilience.
The world health body says its mobile teams successfully reached 51,071 people in 2018 and that 17,483 normal deliveries attended by its skilled birth medical workers.
The agency states that it was able to train 756 disease surveillance workers, 142 integrated health personnel, and equipped 405 health facilities with functional incinerators.
