Juba, March 20, 2019 (SSNA) — Japan has donated $25 million dollars for peace and development in South Sudan, the Japanese government has announced.
Japan says it donates the money with a partnership with international aid agencies, saying the September 2018 revitalized peace agreement is a milestone for the young nation.
Japan sees the agreement as a sign of peace and credited the pact for what it described as improved economic situations in the country.
