Juba, April 2, 2019 (SSNA) — The United States has again declared South Sudan as a threat to its national and foreign policies, an updated version of the Executive Order 13664 seen by the South Sudan News Agency (SSNA) shows.
In the new order, the US President Donald J. Trump, says the national emergency declared in 2014 must continue, saying the war-wracked young nation still poses a threat to the United States.
“The situation in and in relation to South Sudan continues to pose an unusual and extraordinary threat to the national security and foreign policy of the United States. For this reason, the national emergency declared on April 3, 2014, to deal with that threat must continue in effect beyond April 3, 2019. Therefore, in accordance with section 202(d) of the National Emergencies Act (50 U.S.C. 1622(d)), I am continuing for 1 year the national emergency declared in Executive Order 13664,” President trump wrote.
“This notice shall be published in the Federal Register and transmitted to the Congress,” he added.
The United States has consistently labeled South Sudan a threat since April 2014.
South Sudan’s government lashed out at the US on Tuesday, claiming the new move by the United States threatening the ongoing peace efforts.

There is no country on earth which is not against America foreign policy, full of ruts, disturbances, use of powers as if they have rights in South Sudan. Let me ask Trump this stupid question, what kind of rights does USA deserve in South Sudan? Who gave you those rights to claim that South Sudan is a threat to USA foreign policy? Are you dreaming or talking the truth? Which country on earth that USA didn’t interfere and uses certain cliches to disturb? Were you born to disturb the world or born to use powers to meet your interests?
I absolutely hates USA foreign policy so much smelling like fungent eggs or rotten eggs in basket. It was USA who split Soviet Union into pieces, it was USA to caused IRaq issues during Sadam Kussein and up to now. It was USA who caused Libya up to now not stable, same with other countries on earth. Your country is very jealous when seeing other countries are progressing in technology, what is wrong with your country?
I condemn in strongest terms possible and will never agree and continues to disagree with your levelling word that South Sudan is a threat to your country. Who is the real threat in this scenario? USA is the dangerous, aggressive country who only want to benefit through threatening and use of powers. USA is the real threat to South Sudan government by uses rebels, back rebels to meet their foreign policy.
There is no country on earth like South Sudan, it is only the conflicts who affected the country otherwise we are better than USA who are aggressive and brutally deported hundreds of thousands of immigrants because of their colours. When your Nationals are deported, you threatened by the use of sanctions, I strongly ask Africa continent to withdraw away from this aggressive country full of sorts.
Tired of USA threatening policy, how many foreigners in South Sudan? Why they didn’t complain? How many embassies in South Sudan, why didn’t uses the word threat to South Sudan? Do trump think South Sudan can’t develop without USA? Oh my God, there are millions of countries who are very friendly to South Sudan and eager to collaborate with the country without any threatening words at all.

US Support us during war do you know what they were after? And what happened? analyzed that. Yes they donated money but they heavily return them in many ways, heavy salaries, accommodations etc. Some donation term as money as you put but comes as food stuff that was manafactured mainly for south Sudanese consumption but they don’t eat such food in US. In more poin ts Alex is right.US was enemiting the politicians who were power eagers to distroyed many countries in Africa as you put and to mention late. Thank you president Trump, South Sudanese are being held hostage and rendered vulnerable and being killed by their own army. the so called south Sudanese leaders who are suppose to protect the civil population are even ordering their forces to either rape, loot destroy villages and kill civilians on tribal bases. especially the non Dinkas, are targeted .
