We must defeat the Islamic fundamentalism in Sudan!!

May 27, 2012 (SSNA) — I don’t agree with the notion that our nation must resign itself to inevitable decline, yielding its proud position to other hands. I am unwilling to see this country that we inherited from our forefathers fails in its obligation to itself and our fallen mytres, heroes, and to the other free and liberated peoples of southern Sudan. Though, we should leave no initiative untried in our pursuit of peace between our nation and Sudan.

We must be a clear voice in our resolve to resist any UN peaceful act wherever it may occur. Negotiation with Sudan must never become an appeasement. Despite the brutality of Al Bashir and his gang to help our brothers and sisters in other marginalized areas in the old Sudan, must be free from elite in Khartoum, and their national congress party (NCP) denomination regime, led by a group of fanatic Muslims who don’t value the life of human beings.

We strongly vow to protect our citizens, and there will be no more abandonment of our aliens, and friends; whatsoever. The cause must carry SPLM/A, especially north again. Our president must carry on the task of world partnership that this young nation never sought, but has been thrust upon, the bold effort not simply to protect freedom of our people, but to advance it to the needy people wherever they are, keeping our promise of liberation of every corner in Sudan.

Nevertheless, we will foster the infrastructure of democracy, the system of free press, unions, political parties, universities, which will allow people to choose their own destiny. We must forged the beginning of a fundamentally new direction in South Sudan foreign policy, let our government deliberate on how the idea of freedom could be reigned and  spread to the people of eastern and western Sudan, and how to dissident group behind the Iron curtain, and the new initiative could be launched unconditionally.

We know that Islamic fundamentalism was a passing phenomenon, but, we must show the captive people to be optimistic and confident, and to remember that resisting totalitarianism is possible. As this President Kiir said and quotes; “The government in Khartoum once said: " We Southerners are the obstacle and if they can defeat us they will expand Islamization and Arabization up to South Africa" the elites in Khartoum said.

Therefore, it would be better to save lives than to avenge them. The questions that posed themselves here are: are we not capable of demonstrating our peaceful intentions by applying all our abilities? Why we don’t embark on programs to counter the awesome SAF Missiles threats with measures that are defensive?

Let us mark the remarks of 1st Let General and the Chief of staff of South Sudan Arms Forces (SSAF) comrade James Hoth Mai a week ago during the 29th commemorating of May 16th Anniversary day of Sudan People’s Liberation Movement/ Army (SPLM/A) briefing high ranking military officers in Juba, and Quote; “we are committed to build the SPLA to a professional, affordable, accountable, and operational effective military”. The Chief said.

Yes, we need Anti aircraft Missile to defeat Al Bashir and his Islamic Fundamentalist Front party “NIF” once and for good. SPLA Oyeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
