Dear Sir/Madam,

Re: Invitation to The Art for Peace Film Screening

Juba, May 27, 2013 (SSNA) — This letter serves to kindly invite you to attend a film screening event of a peace-building project called The Art for Peace funded by International Organisation for Migration (IOM), and implemented by MatMedia Sudan Society (herein referred as MSS). MatMedia is a national NGO registered with Government of South Sudan in January, 2009, with head office in Hai Thoura, Buluk, Juba City. The Film Screening will start at 4:30 p.m on Thursday (30th/05/2013) in the Conference Hall of the New Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs Building (next to National Ministry of Interior).

The Art for Peace (TAFP) project aims at using dramas and short films to showcase issues affecting community peace and security identified during the project mapping stage by community members and leaders. Such issues include; cattle rustling, inter-clan or inter-tribal violence, youth unemployment, and forced marriages among others. The two short films which will be shown in the event are in Nuer and Dinka acted by South Sudanese youth. TAFP is currently being implemented in Unity State and this film screening is just an extension of such work for wider outreach. As concerned partners in the area of peace building and sustainable development, we urge you to come and learn about TAFP, share your experiences and give comments.

Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

Sincerely yours,

Ding Lam YUAL,Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
MatMedia Sudan Society (MSS).
