Juba, July 14, 2013 (SSNA) — The president of the Republic of South Sudan, Salva Kiir Mayardiit, last month suspended two government ministers, Kosti Manibe Ngai and Deng Alor Kuol. The two ministers were accused of “requesting and wiring funds without the knowledge of the presidency and other relevant institutions” (ST). The president also lifted their immunities so that the two former ministers can be investigated and prosecuted if the allegations brought against them are credible.
But the documents leaked to the South Sudan News Agency revealed that other government officials are the actual players in the scheme.
