My thoughts: What is the Saving of South Sudan?

January 16, 2014 (SSNA) — The only hope for South Sudan is laying down of personal gain. President Salva Kiir, at your country’s birth, you called for Christian missionaries. Where has that looking to God gone? Mr Machar, if you are a follower of Jesus and fear God you must stop the fighting. God will exalt those who humble themselves. Men you both want this country, but if you destroy it what good is it to you? Luke 23:40b Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation?

Your enemy is winning and they are not even fighting you. You also have showed the world what you are made of. South Sudan is greater than this, turn to the one true God, and Saviour, The Lord Jesus Christ and be ye reconciled to God, that you may solve your differences.

Rom 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. 10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. 11 And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement. 12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

Rom 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Lay your differences aside we have all made mistakes, call upon the Lord to forgive and if God will forgive you, are you so much higher than God that you can not forgive yourself and one another.

Rom 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. 12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. 13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

One can not comprehend reconciliation until they have been reconciled to God by Jesus Christ our Lord. The message of hope is the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Peace can only come thru the Prince of Peace.

The Saving of South Sudan is the Surrender of Selfishness.

Have a Blessed Day in the Lord Jesus,
