Omaha, July 2, 2017 (SSNA) — The Nuer (Naath) Community Development Service (NCDS, Inc) in the United States has elected a new leader after months of intense campaigning and political accusations.
Gach Chok-Chok, a conservative Nuer, won the election by a wide margin, beating other six candidates who failed to garner enough votes at the election hall, the South Sudan News Agency (SSNA) has learned.
Chok-Chok, who hails from the Greater Gajaak Community, beats Abioth Mark Chuol, William Pay, Nimeri Riek, Dak Reath Thoan, Gatjang Matay, and John Jock Tay in what has been described by South Sudanese local analysts as “surprising.”
Chok-Chok, told the South Sudan News Agency minutes before the election results were announced that ” he is ready to work and support whoever wins” the hotly contested election.
The outgoing NCDS’s President, Nyanguok Gatloa, said she is happy that the election went smoothly and urges all NCDS members to pledge their support to the incoming administration.
The Nuer community is the biggest among all South Sudanese communities in the United States.

Congratulation to Mr. Gach Chokchok for winning Nuer National Election as a new leader for the Nuer Community Development Service ( NCDS) the larger organization in the country’s immigrant that resided in the United State of America. Hope, you’ll be working for the safegaurd of the Nuer Community at large and therefore, to bring a new era that fill of good development among other things. Be courage and work for your people and be dealing with all the necessary things that would promote the organization largely in different levels.

Taban Deng Gai has failed terribly, Any Nuer leader needs Nuer of the USA to succeed. Now it is lear that the incoming NCDS-USA leader is a RED-LINE for Taban and his food overs. Sorry for you food lovers.
