RJMEC Chair briefs UN on peace implementation

Juba, December 7, 2022 (SSNA) — The Chairperson of the Reconstituted Joint Monitoring and Evaluation Commission (RJMEC) Major General Charles Tai Gituai today briefed visiting United Nations delegation on the status of the revitalized peace agreement.

Gen. Gituai told the delegation that some progress has been made and that more works need to be done to move the young nation forward.

On its part, the Un thanks RJMEC and vows to continue its support of the agreement.
