Juba, July 4, 2019 (SSNA) — The United Nations in South Sudan (UNMISS) says South Sudan’s government troops killed at least 100 civilians in Central Equatoria between September 2018 and April 2019.
In a report released on Wednesday, UN states that Juba-backed forces deliberately killed civilians I pretext that they are reel supporters.
South Sudan army spokesman Lul Ruai Kong denied the finding, saying “the report cannot substantiate the elements that have been attributed to us.”
Lul also accused the UN of having “malicious intentions” against the government of South Sudan.
