March 26, 2012 (SSNA) — The SSLA Military High Command started Operation Ending Corruption today on March, 26, 2012. SSLA forces under the command of Maj. Gen. Mathews Pul Jang captured SPLA military base in Northern Pariang County. The SSLA forces dislodged five thousands SPLA soldiers in that base. Two tanks were destroyed; four mounted Toyota Land Cruisers were burned and two Russian made military trucks were completely obliterated.

The SSLA forces are now pursuing the SPLA forces and will soon liberate Lalop, Manga and Bentiu town. We call upon all civilians, NGOs and UN personnel in Unity State to leave within two days. By April 1st, 2012, SSLA operational commanders will take tea inside Bentiu town. We call upon the people of Unity State that they will soon be liberated from Taban Deng Gai and Salva Kiir Mayardit.

In the evening of March, 26, five paramount chiefs of Unity State called Maj. Gen. James Gai Yoach and declared their allegiance to SSLM/A. They told the Head of SSLA Military Command that all people of Unity State are awaiting liberation and will receive SSLA forces with flowers and milk. The chiefs stated that the rule of Taban Deng Gai and Salva Kiir turned Unity State into Sodom and Gomorrah. Maj. Gen. James Gai promised them that they will be liberated soon from the yoke of operation.

The SSLA calls upon all the people of South Sudan to prepare themselves for liberation. The SSLM/A sent a message to Bari and Mahdi’s chiefs in Greater Equatoria telling them that they would soon be liberated from brutal tribal government that is killing them daily. As soon the SSLA forces liberated Unity State, the military campaign will continue to Warrap, Lakes and Central Equatoria.

SSLA calls upon all civilians in Malakal town to consider evacuating because in the coming weeks, the combined forces SSLA and SSDA under the command of Maj. Gen. Johnson Olony will attack the town. We seriously advise international NGOs and UN personnel to consider evacuating from Malakal town for their own safety.
