Isaiah Abraham, you’ll hardly be forgotten

December 7, 2012 (SSNA) — The untimely death of our great friend Isaiah Abraham on Tuesday the 4th of December is a big blow to South Sudan as a nation, his friends and his family. I personally love Isaiah Abraham, but I hate the system that killed him. Isaiah Abraham, if tears of your friends and family members could build a stairway and memories a lane, they’d walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

The killers of Isaiah Abraham must be reminded that our love for him won’t go away; he’ll always walk beside us every day, unseen, unheard, but always near. Isaiah Abraham is still loved, still missed and very dear.

South Sudanese love for Isaiah Abraham, especially the media community will always remain, for love itself lives on, and cherished memories never fade away, because a loved one’s gone. More than a thought apart, for as long as there is memory, Isaiah Abraham will live on in South Sudanese’ hearts.

To family and friends of Isaiah Abraham, although it’s difficult today to see beyond the sorrow, may looking back in memory help comfort you tomorrow. May almighty God grant you the serenity to accept the things you cannot change, courage to change the things you can, and the wisdom to know the difference.

There is a saying that goes; no matter how long the night is, the day will surely come. However, no matter how rotten the legal system in our country may be today, justice will still be done one day to those egocentric individuals who target and kill critical thinkers like Isaiah Abraham.
