SPLM/A-in Opposition USA Office Statement on the first anniversary of ‘December 2013 Nuer Massacre’

Washington, DC, December 15, 2014 (SSNA) — Today, December 15, 2014, marks the first anniversary of the Juba massacre of ethnic Nuer people ordered by President Salva Kiir Mayardit. This day will go down to the history of South Sudan and will be remember by all generations to come.

The office of the SPLM/SPLA-IO Representative in Washington, DC, would like to seize this opportunity to convey a message of condolence to the Nuer community Worldwide as they are commemorating this day in an honors to their love one who were murdered in a cold-blooded by the presidential militias in Juba.

Therefore, the SPLM/A Resistant Movement’s Chairman and commander in Chief, Dr. Riek Machar, and the entire Leadership of the SPLM/SPLA-IO, is standing with you the families, victims, and injured in mourning this day with you. The SPLM/A-IO will also make sure that the Killer Salva Kiir, is held accountable for the inhuman actions he has committed against the Nuer Nation and all the perpetrators must be brought to justice
