SPLM/A-IO’s letter of appreciation to civil society organizations in the United States

May 22, 2015

Subject: Appreciation

May 22, 2015 (SSNA) — On behalf of Finance and Resource Mobilization Committee Delegation and my own behalf, I would like to take this opportunity to appreciate the Community leaders who attended telephone conferences and meetings on May 7, 14 and 21, 2015 with Hon. Gabriel Changson Chang; I am convinced that together we shall achieve more. I would like to also thank all our supporters in the United States of America for their tireless effort and support rendered to our people in South Sudan during these trying times. May the Almighty God continue to give you strength so that you can even do more for our people.

Organizing ourselves should be our priority now. We should start organizing ourselves after the 1st SPLM/SPLA Convention and fundraising events this weekend in Omaha, Nebraska. As we organize, our focus should be supporting the people of South Sudan to defeat Salva Kiir and the regime in Juba.

We must maintain our relationship and focus on transforming South Sudan in to a true democratic state free of tribalism, corruption and injustices.

Once again, thank you for supporting the cause of the people of South Sudan. Hon. Gabriel, Cde Martin Abucha and I shall all meet you in person at the Fund Raising event on May 24, 2015 in Omaha, NE.
