Juba, August 24, 2017 (SSNA) — A South Sudanese man was killed on Wednesday by unknown gunmen, relatives of the deceased have said.

Chuol Rock Malow was killed Wednesday night on his way to his house after he accompanied friends who had visited him earlier.

Two family members of the dead said they are shocked to learn Chuol’s death.

“We don’t know why these gunmen keep killing people and the government keeps silence,” one family member who spoke exclusively to the South Sudan News Agency said in Juba.

Chuol, who hails from Gaatjaak section of Jikany Nuer, was shot several times in his stomach, taken to a nearby clinic, and pronounced dead after an operation was performed by doctors.

Juba’s unknown gunmen are widely believed to be government-sponsored hitmen hired to kill people.

Is really worse circumference. South Sudanese are subjected to frequent torture and killing base on ethnicity and tribe. When shall we stop this kind of behavior. Every small things that does not requires gun is done through the barrel of the Gun.
To me, there is no true leaders in South Sudan.
We became a laughting stock of neighbouring countries.
What I learn from South Sudanese, there is too much hatred, division especially with location, tribes and even very common in the work places.
Please let as advocate for the true peace that we have been struggling for.
Hatred, division, ehinicity will not take us somewhere.
With great sorry I would like to send my condolence message to the family of the deseased Choul.
Those who killed you, they are already at the judjemwnt throne of the Lord.
    God bless you all.
