Juba, April 19, 2019 (SSNA) — The European Union (EU) has pledged to fund a five-year educational program designed to help South Sudanese children attend schools, cover their meals, equip them with educational supplies, and provide psychosocial support services to children and youths.

Both the EU and the United Nations said the program will be implemented in Warrap, Western Bahr el Ghazal, Eastern Equatoria, and Northern Bahr el Ghazal states.

The program, according to the UN, will cover at least 150 schools.
