Health ministry launches cholera vaccination in Pibor

Pibor, January 21, 2021 (SSNA) — South Sudan’s health ministry has launched cholera vaccination in the Greater Pibor Administrative area after initial evaluation show that the people in the area are at risk of the disease including the Coronavirus.

Health minister Achuei Yol said the immunization campaign was also launched in other areas deemed to be at risk of flood.

The vaccination is expected to run between January 16-21, 2021.
