UN Honors Chinese Peacekeepers in South Sudan

Juba, October 30, 2023 (SSNA) — The United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) has awarded peace medals to Chinese peacekeepers stationed in Wau city, a UNMISS official told the South Sudan News Agency.

The UNMISS says all more than 330 Chinese peacekeepers have received peace medals.

The United Nations commended the Chinese peacekeepers, saying they have demonstrated an “outstanding performance.”
