Kampala/Addis Ababa, September 15, 2018 (SSNA) — Ugandan-trained South Sudanese snipers have arrived in Juba on Saturday night, a former Ugandan intelligence officer told the South Sudan News Agency (SSNA) in Kampala.
The new allegation comes two days after South Sudan’s warring factions signed a power-sharing deal.
The former spy who calls himself James Moises to shield his identity explained that Salva Kiir’s hand-picked South Sudanese soldiers were being trained in Western Uganda district of Buliisa and South Sudan’s Warrap State. James claims that Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni is deceiving people at South Sudan peace talks while secretly working to make sure Kiir remains in power.
“This man [Museveni] is the one who prolongs the war in South Sudan. He demands huge monthly payments to help keep Kiir in power and Kiir never missed a single payment,” James told the South Sudan News Agency.
Known for leaking out Museveni’s dealings with Kiir, James blasted the Ugandan leader, described the aged Museveni as “a mad, old, and bloody dictator.”
“Ugandans do not have a leader. Museveni is no longer a leader. This mad, old, and bloody dictator deserves to be toppled before he died,” he asserted.
Last month, James was the first person who leaked out the news that more than 300 South Sudanese soldiers were being trained as snipers in Uganda’s Buliisa district and that an additional 1000 South Sudanese soldiers were also being trained by the Uganda People’s Defence Force (UPDF) in Kiir’s home state, Warrap.
James further disclosed that Kiir and Museveni secretly flew the 1300 new snipers to Juba Saturday night and that the snipers are now divided into two groups strategically stationed around Juba. He also stated that new South Sudanese soldiers could soon arrive in Warrap and Buliisa district.
James stunned the world in July 2013, after he exposed Kiir and Museveni plot in an article he wrote more than four months before the war broke out in Juba.
A senior official of the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement-In Opposition (SPLM-IO) who asked his identity be shielded because he was not authorized to talk to the media about the new development told the South Sudan News Agency in Ethiopia’s capital, Addis Ababa, that the armed opposition is aware of the situation and that the SPLA-IO is closely monitoring it.

God help south sudan, war has no good result to all of us! who ever disagrees should go to the refugees camps and POCs all tribes are suffering civlians, civil servants,soldiers are suffering the same. so, we spoil it, we all suffer the resuts.
This is strange, whey did you allow the sobs and daughters of South Sudan to be trained outside and he the Ugandan? They could have been trained inside to justify your legality, but since they are trained outside that mean you are not a ligimate government but the government that is wanted to pursue war and war against the true voices of freedom and rights of the innocents South Sudanese. The days are numbered for the regime to come to an end either by itself or others. Staying in power and doing nothing is a crime against the sons and daughters of the nation.
